You don't have to follow the red paved line. Just walk straight.

If you need more outlets, you can use the European-style outlets behind the bed with an adapter, but it may disable a lamp.
Be careful in aft cabins as soot from the smokestack can get on your clothes and balcony furniture.
If you want to snorkel, walk over to Lover's Cove as it is a protected area with lots of fish.
Be careful walking on the Avalon Harbor Pleasure Pier as it is old, rough, and has bumps and nail heads.
