Bring your cruise card when getting off the ship.
If the weather is bad on the boat trip, use the indoor panoramic window areas to see the scenery.
As soon as you get onto the ship, it's always worth having a look at the map just so you can see where everything is deck by deck.
It's definitely worth bringing a water bottle on the cruise as well because they've got these machines where you can fill your water bottle up.
If you're only going a few decks and if you haven't got the push chair, it's definitely a lot quicker just doing the stairs.
Do everything online before you arrive (upload photos, passports, payment details) to make check-in faster.
If traveling with a toddler, bring your own standard-size travel cot as the ship's provided ones are quite small.
Inside cabins are great for sleeping because they are pitch black when the lights go off.
