Carnival Firenze Embarkation Day!! | Mexican Riviera | Solo Travel

Hello Travelers, I boarded the Carnival Firenze on June 4, 2024. This is a short five day cruise, visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. I’ve been to both ports, but I was really excited about this cabin! I flew in the day before, and stayed at a hotel close to the airport, because I had purchased an airport transfer to the ship from Carnival. If you haven’t done that before, it is really convenient. When I do that, I stay at a close by hotel for the night, and then go back to the airport to get on the bus. Carnival will have people to meet passengers at baggage claim, so always keep an eye out for them if you’d done this. I got the whole bus to myself this time, as there were no other passengers waiting to get on when it came. We drove to Long Beach port, and the lines were crazy long. They had us standing out there in the heat with the sun beating down on us for a long time before we made our way into the building to another long line! By the time I got on the ship, I was hot, sweaty and irritated with Carnival. I have been on other lines in this same port and the experience was night and day different. I had dinner at the Bonsai Sushi restaurant, and it was tasty. I have a great cabin this time with a corner wraparound balcony. Stay tuned, the cabin tour will be the next video coming up!
