Hello Travelers, I wanted to pop this in here. I know it is out of sequence with the series running just now, but I just got back from a cruise where I caught Covid. I wanted to show you what it is like in August 2024 to have Covid on a cruise ship. It has been going around the ship too, my group ended up with 4 cases. I know of several more just by hearing other passengers talk. This cruise was a 14 day Scandinavian cruise on the Sky Princess. I contracted Covid on day 11 of that cruise. I was isolated in my cabin for one day, and after consulting with the RN, she released me from isolation as long as I wear a mask around the ship. I refrained from going on shore the last port, but did venture out to pick up food here and there. I describe the process the ship uses for covid cases, and at the end, I show you my medical records with the cost of seeing a doctor aboard a Princess ship.
