Carnival Radiance Day 3 - Catalina Island | Newly Launched | Dec 2021 | Solo Travel

Hello Travelers, I am on the newly revamped Carnival Radiance cruise ship, and it is Day 3 of our cruise, and we are at Catalina Island. I had breakfast at Big Chicken, which was quite tasty. I want to go back and have more on another ship. The tender ride was a bit bumpy going out, and you can see how much the gangway was moving in the video. That because more of an issue on the way back to the ship, and we took a very long time to be able to get off the tender and onto the ship. The crew kept readjusting the gangway to make it stable, and would let a couple of people off, and then have to readjust it again because the seas were not calm. It made me wonder what happens if the sea becomes so rough unexpectedly—how do they get the passengers back on board? If you know, I’d love to hear in the comments. They had the Build a Bear Workshop at Sea, and I was able to take a new friend home with me. That is always fun to see the heart ceremony and the little kids getting so enthusiastic. Dinner was sushi at Bonsai, which is an uncharge, but well worth it. After that, the 80’s Rockin Glow Party was in full swing, and I also managed to see the Deal or No Deal game show.
