Creator's Key Takeaways

this is a stateroom tour for cabin b as in boy 750 which is on Deck 11 the Baja deck

I am a sucker for an aft balcony though. I do love watching the wake of the ship as we sail.

The power situation is not ideal though—no outlets at the bed.

it's a big balcony so I'm going backwards here you've got the two chairs there's no foot rest and you get a table which is pretty big

Creator's Tips & Advice

Use the outlets on the desk at the back wall for charging devices.

YouTube Video Description

Hello Travelers, I boarded the Emerald Princess on August 21, 2023 right in the middle of Hurricane Hillary. Here is a tour of my aft balcony cabin (B750), which was very nice. It had a great sized balcony, although there was this big pillar in the way. I am a sucker for an aft balcony though. I do love watching the wake of the ship as we sail. This cabin is well laid out. The power situation is not ideal though—no outlets at the bed. You can use the outlets on the desk at the back wall of the cabin to reach the first end table there, but if you need something to reach the other end table, you’d need to rig up an extension cord and maybe either route it under or around the bed. There is also power on the shelf above the bar, but that is even further from the bed, I think. The rest of the cabin is good tho, the desk is a decent size for anyone who needs to put a laptop down, and the storage in this cabin is great. This is a 19 day cruise leaving from Los Angeles and ending all the way over in New York. There are a good mix of sea and port days, and this should be a great cruise. While we left on the day that Hurricane Hillary was due to make landfall in Los Angeles, it seems to have fizzed out. When I woke up this morning, after a rainy and windy night in the hotel, the sky was overcast but it was no longer raining or windy. As the day progressed, as you can see from the shots off the balcony, the sky was blue and the sun was out. That was at about 2pm I shot the video, so it was quite a change from the day before. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
