On September 10, 2021 I set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas for a seven day Alaska cruise visiting Juneau, Skagway and Sitka, plus the Dawes glacier. This is the second day of the cruise, and it’s duck hiding day! It was also formal night, and I had dinner in the main dining room. I had an appointment to go on the North Star (the viewing arm that lifts you up over the ship and out over the sea), but it was too windy and the seas were too rough to run it. So we rescheduled for the only other time I could get an appointment—on the last sea day of the cruise.
