Hello Travelers, After disembarking the Rocky Mountaineer, I spent an extra day in Moab, Utah. I booked a sunset tour of Arches National Park, which is vast and beautiful. We barely scratched the surface of what this park has to offer. I started my day with breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. It was a tasty beginning, and so convenient. I wandered around the town a little, but it was beastly hot out, and I knew I would be out again for the tour. Once the time to go rolled around, I headed over to the tour operator’s headquarters, the Moab Adventure Center (https://www.moabadventurecenter.com/). They offer a number of interesting tours, and I will definitely go back and book another the next time I am in town. The park is really huge, and features over 2,000 natural stone arches. I booked their Arches National Park Sunset Discovery tour. It was a van, and there were several of us on the tour. (This was not a sponsored outing, I just booked on their website.). Our driver took us into the park, pointed out some of the major points of interest and led short hikes to various stone arches and stacked stones. The park is gorgeous and there is no way to take it all in with just a four hour tour. I want to come back and spend some more time and really get to see more of it. Would you come to this park?
