Flying Alaska Airlines First Class in a Pandemic | San Francisco to Los Angeles | Trip Report

On March 27, 2022, I flew first class on Alaska Airlines from San Francisco (SFO) to Los Angeles (LAX). This began my journey to the Discovery Princess cruise ship, and her inaugural sailing. Here is the trip report. Masks are required to be worn as soon as you are on airport property, throughout the flight, and until you exit the airport property at your arrival location. They are requiring the “sip and cover” method of eating or drinking on the plane, so having your mask off during the drink or snack time is limited to when you are taking an actual bite of food or sip of liquid.
