Hello Travelers, I boarded the Holland America Cruiseline’s Koningsdam on September 10, 2022. This video shows day three of our cruise, where we visit Juneau, and I take an excursion that leaves from the ship while still at sea. I took a shore excursion that came along side the ship before we got to Juneau and we all boarded just like you would a tender. That trip required it’s own video to do it justice, and you can find it here: https://youtu.be/lQ2XWcNN1Bk. The boat took us out to Tracy Arm Fjord and the South Sawyer Glacier, and then brought us back to the ship, which was docked in Juneau by that time. I was able to go into Juneau and have dinner at the Red Dog Saloon, which was tasty and entertaining. Then I wandered around the town, but by the time I found the SeaAlaska museum, it was already closed. So I shall have to visit next time I am there. In the meantime, there was lots to see in port. After I got back on board, I caught the comedian’s show, as well as a game show. It was a busy day in port! They even delivered our disembarkation flyer, which was WAY too early to contemplate on Day 3. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content.
