Hello Travelers, I boarded Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas in August of 2022. This is day 3 of the cruise, and we are in Cozumel. We went to Mr. Sanchos all inclusive resort. You can make a reservation ahead of time (which is recommended) at mrsanchos.com and you pay a $5 deposit. The balance is collected when you get there. Be sure to print your receipt out before you go, because they want to see a printed copy. This is not booked through the cruise line so it does not include transportation and does not have any guarantee to get you back to the ship on time—that is all on you. We took a taxi to Mr. Sanchos. It runs between $17 and $25 usually depending on where your ship is docked. Be sure to set yourself an alarm so you know it is time to head back with enough cushion to make it if there are big ships in port with the same deadline as yours. It can get very crowded both trying to get into the port and to get through security. This was my first time at Mr. Sanchos, and we really enjoyed our stay. Once you check in, they have someone escort you to your table. That serves as base of operations for you, and you have the choice of ordering your food and drinks off a menu or going to the buffet or any bar on property. The food and drinks were all good, and we ordered off menu for ours. The beach was beautiful, with soft sand. The pools were all nice as well—there are three of them: a children’s pool, an adults-only pool and a pool open to everyone. Two of them have swim up bars as well. You can rent water toys at one end of the property, and at the other end is the water park with floating things to climb on and jump off. I believe there is a cost for both. There is also a spa where you can book treatments, as well as various vendors selling wares. There is even a pharmacy when you first walk in. We had a nice relaxing day at the beach and in the pools, and the weather was great for the most part—until it wasn’t. It did start with the thunder and rain and we eventually headed back to the ship as it was getting near our time anyway. Dinner was in Johnny Rockets for a small uncharge (I think it was around $15) which was very tasty. And it was fun to watch them dance when specific songs were played. I also saw the ice show and watched a movie in the theater. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content.
