P&O Iona Day 4 - Alesund, Norway | Norwegian Fjords | Solo Travel Vlog

Hello Travelers, I boarded P&O’s Iona on July 29, 2023. I have never been on this cruise line before, so I was interested to see the differences in the way a new line handles things. We are doing a seven day tour of the Norwegian Fjords, a bucket list cruise for me. I’m excited to bring you along on this trip! We are docked today in Alesund, and I booked the shore excursion titled “Alesund Island Discovery” through the ship. They took us on a bus to a bunch of places. First stop was an observatory, which you can actually see from the ship, it is high on the mountain. We also got to stop at a church, a lighthouse and then had some time in downtown Alesund to walk around. It was a really nice way to get to know the area.
