YouTube Video Description

Hello Travelers, In July of 2023, I did my first Alaska cruise tour with Princess cruises. If you haven’t done one of these before, it is a bit different than just going on a cruise. I chose to do the land portion of the tour first, as I had found in my research that people recommended that you get that part over with first before boarding the ship. I second that advice, having done this trip now—it is better to do the land portion first, because you have the logistics with going to a new hotel each evening and handling the bags. Once you finish the land tour, you will really appreciate being able to unpack once on the ship and then just enjoy yourself. I was in room J118. This property is also quite large. There are multiple buildings and they give you a map to be able to navigate. There is the main lodge building where you are initially dropped off by the bus driver. It is two story, and has a gift shop, a grab and go restaurant and a coffee shop. There are also restrooms and areas where you can just sit and relax and look out the large floor to ceiling windows at the back of the building. It differs from the last property by spreading out the eating and shopping through the property. There are a number of residential buildings with hotel rooms in them, and sprinkled among them are various eateries and shops. My room was large and comfortable. I had a good sized bed, a table with chairs, coffee facilities in room, and the bathroom with a large shower. I was again here overnight, and took a tour as well, so the day just flew by. The experience will be in another video. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
