Hello Travelers, I boarded Carnival Celebration on November 21, 2022. This is a six day cruise, visiting Grand Turk, Amber Cove and Nassau. Join me in exploring this brand new ship! Today was a sea day, and there were lots of activities scheduled to keep passengers entertained. I made it to Afternoon Tea, had lunch at Miami Slice and dinner at Cucina del Capitano. I caught the Disco class, the Single Ladies class, and the last Karaoke of the cruise. We also had a period of time in the evening where there were alarms going off on the ship, and the public address system was live, despite it interrupting the ability of the entertainers on board to be heard. Lee, our Cruise Director, came on several times to keep us updated and reassure everyone that the alarms were in fact false alarms. After a bit, the Captain came on and told us they had resolved the situation and that live performances were back on track again. This is the fun of going on an inaugural season cruise—sometimes there are still bugs in the system that need to be fixed.
