San Francisco Airport's BEST Kept Secret: British Airways Lounge!| Solo Travel Vlog

Hello Travelers, I flew British Airways in first class from San Francisco (SFO) to London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR) on July 17, 2024 on my way to the meet the Sky Princess cruise ship. When you fly on qualifying flights, you get lounge access along with your ticket. I arrived a little early to my flight, so I thought I would take a look a their lounge. When I checked in, I was given a card to use their restaurant as well, but I didn’t have enough time for that. So I grabbed a little snack and a soda and sat down to read and charge my phone. When it came close to my flight’s boarding time, I headed over to the other end of the lounge, near the elevator. That is where they setup a podium and will scan boarding passes so passengers can just board from the lounge without having to go back upstairs to the gate. It was quite convenient and quick, since the number of people boarding my flight from the lounge was certainly lower than the number would have been at the gate. Once we went down a hall, people guided us which direction to go, and they checked our boarding passes again to direct us either to the left jet bridge for First Class, or to the right jet bridge for everyone else. I do not know if we started boarding before or after the gate started though. I did not see anyone come and merge with our line from the gate door.
