Emerald Princess Water Shuttle Hints & Tips Flyer | Solo Travel

Hello Travelers, I boarded the Emerald Princess on August 21, 2023 right in the middle of Hurricane Hillary. Here are the flyers the cabin steward delivered to my cabin. I found this interesting. It is concentrating on tendering to Princess Cays, but I expect it is much the same for any port that needs tenders. If you are not familiar with what these are, when a port does not have a dock for the cruise ship, they resort to using smaller boats to ferry the people back and forth. These boats are called tenders. Sometimes they are the ship’s own lifeboats, but sometimes they are property of the port, or some private company that offers this service. They can be called tenders, water shuttles, ferries, etc. But their function in this context is to bring people to and from the cruise ship.
