Hello Travelers, In September 2024, I took a train trip from Montreal to Halifax in preparation for a cruise leaving from Halifax. I had heard of The Ocean, a train that ran down the most scenic route from Montreal to Halifax, and I wanted to try it out. There are two kinds of train cars that Via Rail runs on this route—the vintage and the modern. I thought I had booked a vintage car, but alas, I had not. It was a nice cabin regardless, and I had a great time on the train. But more of that later. For this video, I show you the hotel I stayed in pre-train trip.
