Flying Southwest Airlines | Houston to Las Vegas | Trip Report

Hello Travelers, On September 5, 2022, I flew from Houston to San Francisco via Las Vegas. This is my flight on Southwest Airlines for the first leg of the trip: IAH - LAS. With all the flight cancellations the airlines have been experiencing, I book a first thing in the morning flight in the hopes that there would not be a delay. The full journey was from Houston to Las Vegas, and then within an hour, connecting to a flight to San Francisco. I had just under an hour for the connection, which was a bit stressful, but we landed quite close to where the next flight was departing, so it worked out well. Still, I like a longer layover just for peace of mind. The flight itself was very smooth. The attendants served soft drinks (alcoholic drinks were available for purchase).
