Creator's Key Takeaways
I am on a brand new ship I'm on the Norwegian Prima
embarkation was very smooth I did not get to the Port of Galveston until probably about two o'clock
there was hardly anybody there was no lines or anything they checked my boarding pass and then it was straight to security
they actually came on the speaker system at 10 15 and said that the guests had to go depart the ship now and it was kind of surreal

Hello Travelers, I was on the brand new Norwegian Prima cruise ship for a media and travel agent cruise. This video covers Embarkation day on this short four day cruise. Embarkation was very quick and easy. I arrived a bit later to the Port of Galveston than I usually would, but since the ship wasnโt scheduled to sail until 7pm, I felt that 2pm wasnโt a bad time to arrive. There were no lines anywhere in the embarkation process. They checked my boarding pass before security. Since this was a non revenue (no paying passengers) cruise, they warned us ahead of time that there would be no porter luggage service. This means we had to roll our own suitcases up the gangway today, and back off at the end of the cruise. There were other things about this cruise that will be different with paying passengers. For example, they allowed us only one speciality dining experience for the entire cruise. When I boarded, several of the venues had already been fully booked. Happily, I got to try the sushi restaurant, and Iโm always up for some sushi. But this means I was able to film the other venues, but not eat anything in them. This is a four day cruise, and tomorrow is our first sea day. I hope you join me! Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you donโt miss future content. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
