Hello Travelers, Do you like to work out while on vacation? This video will compare fitness centers across several cruise lines to give you an idea what your options are for staying active while on a cruise ship. The gyms are surprisingly popular on board in contrast to many of the myths about people who cruise. When I take video of these areas, they are frequently very busy. I usually will try and get my footage during times when people are less likely to be there just to be cognizant of people’s privacy. Some gyms are very small—such as the first option on the American Cruise Line ship—this is a very small ship, but they still manage to offer something for the passengers. And let me tell you, it was tough finding this room empty to film! Apparently the passengers on this ship are highly motivated to stay active! Many of the larger lines devote a good amount of space and resources to their fitness centers. You can tell with the level of equipment available and the facilities that these are popular spaces.
