Creator's Key Takeaways

Amber Cove was great uh I was able to go out to the pool and all the other fun stuff there

that Port really they've done a lot of work with just the immediate Port area so there's quite a bit to do

the pool was large there's a swim up bar there is also a Zero Entry pool that's shallow and was very popular with the kids

it's a bit of a trek it's not as bad as some ports but it's you know it's not the shortest pier in the world

YouTube Video Description

Hello Travelers, I boarded Carnival Celebration on November 21, 2022. This is a six day cruise, visiting Grand Turk, Amber Cove and Nassau. Join me in exploring this brand new ship! Today is Thanksgiving Day and we are in Amber Cove. This is a long pier, and you can see the Carnival Freedom docked right next to us when I come off the ship. There are bicycle cart drivers who will give you a ride to the end of the pier—which I took advantage of. It is a bit of a trek, and it was pretty warm, so I found it was worth it to do that instead of walking all the way in the hot Caribbean sun. These drivers work for tips, so be sure to remember them at the end of the ride. The cruise lines have done quite a bit of development work on this port. In addition to a lot of shopping opportunities, there is a large pool, with a regular entry at one end and a zero entry at another. There is a children’s splash complex with fun things to climb on. There was a basketball court that was getting a lot of use as well. They had over water cabanas with a nice view of the ship and their own bar area that can be rented (I believe they are listed as shore excursions, and they go quickly so be sure to reserve yours if you want one early. One of the more popular excursions was the zip lining. I understand it is a flat fee for all day use, and I saw people using it quite a bit. You soar over the pool area, so I am sure you get a great view. I had lunch at the restaurant there. The soccer game was very popular, and the fans were really into it, chanting, singing and cheering their team on. The food was good, as were the drinks, although I managed to knock nearly a full Pina colada over and had to scramble to get my electronics out of the flow. Back at the ship, I had Thanksgiving dinner in the main dining room (well, one of them). It was tasty and I didn’t have to cook anything.
