Hello Travelers, In August 2024, I boarded the Silversea Nova for a voyage around Alaska. This is the pre-cruise hotel I stayed at before embarkation. When you book with Silversea, you have a choice of booking your own accommodations or they can be included in a package deal. However, when I looked at the hotel and the price that were included in the package, I decided I would rather go it alone. This is the hotel I chose, and it was significantly less pricey. It did mean that I would need to make my way to the hotel where they were booking guests to do my check in, and to meet the transportation to the port, but that was not a hardship.
