Ovation of the Seas - Ship Tour | No talking | Alaska Cruise | Solo Travel | September 2021

On September 10, 2021 I set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas for a seven day Alaska cruise visiting Juneau, Skagway and Sitka, plus the Dawes glacier. This is the ship tour, and this ship is huge! I didn’t get to many of the activities at all, sadly. The water park wasn’t really doing much, nor were the pools most of the time. When going to Alaska, the weather doesn’t really make the water sports seem quite as appealing as when you are in Mexico or the Caribbean. Still, it would have been nice to be able to go on the North Star. I guess I’ll just have to go on another Quantum class ship in a warmer climate with calmer seas. What a hardship!
