Creator's Key Takeaways

It is disembarkcation day, but it's kind of a weird one.

They actually I believe are disembarking everybody on the ship even the people who are going pole to pole because the ship has to go into dry dock.

It'll be nice to get a little more time there.

They gave us basically two days in a hotel at their expense.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Be on time getting off the ship to avoid delays.
Prepare for drizzly and cold weather when planning excursions.

YouTube Video Description

Hello Travelers, I took a cruise with Hurtigruten’s Roald Amundsen down the east coast. This was an unusual disembarkation day, since we stopped in Provincetown in the morning first. It was a tender port, and there was an included excursion of a trolley to take you around, but the day was so grey and drizzly that I opted to stay on boar. Once we left there, we sailed into Boston and docked the ship. This was so that everyone could get off the ship and it could spend some time in dry dock before it continued on to Antarctica. Sadly, I don’t get to go on that portion of the journey. They had us deposit our luggage by 2pm in the seating areas next to each of the elevators, and our luggage tags corresponded to our deck number. We exited to the busses and stayed with our deck. Then we went to the hotel, and waited in line for our key cards and information packets. The cruise line provided three meals a day (all buffet style, but with bar service) or you could go out on your own. They also offered included shore excursions for the two days we lost from the cruise. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this trip, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
