Hello Travelers, I boarded the Sky Princess on July 20, 2024 for a trip around Scandinavia. This is a sea day, and I am stuck in my cabin with Covid. Since I tested positive for covid yesterday, I am isolating in my cabin until further notice. When the crew delivers anything to my door, they knock, set the items down on the floor, and I wait until they leave to get them. They are wearing masks as well. They brought all three meals for me, as well as menus to order from. I tried to keep it all pretty simple. I have a sore throat, headache and a cough and sniffles, but otherwise I’m feeling pretty good. I’ve had my initial dose of Paxlovid and it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. That is a known side effect, along with intestinal fun. So when I realized I was down to the last roll of toilet paper, I placed an order to have my cabin stew leave me a care package. He also brought me Kleenex, which is good because I forgot to ask for it. After talking to several people today (various departments called to see how I was doing and if I needed anything), and the medical center, I have been given the all clear to leave my cabin tomorrow (while wearing a mask).
