Creator's Key Takeaways
one of the nice things about doing this solo is that if I wake up and decide that's a bad idea I'm not going to do that I don't upset anybody else because the plans have changed

Hello Travelers, In August of 2023, I did my first full transit of the Panama Canal with Princess cruises. It was a 19 day cruise, the longest I had been on to date. This is day 4 of the cruise, and we are docked in Mazatlan. I’ve been to this port several times, and none of the ship shore excursions looked good to me. So I went with a trip to hot springs, booked through shorexecursionsgroup.com. However, when we got to Mazatlan, just stepping out onto my balcony early in the morning for my breakfast, it was already hot and muggy. So I decided that getting into hot water didn’t sound so great after all. One of the nicest things about traveling solo is the ability to change your plans when you feel like it and not having to disappoint anyone else. I stayed on the ship for a good part of the day, and then eventually wandered down and off the ship. I show you the tram that takes us to the Cruise Terminal building. This is a very industrial port, so it wouldn’t be safe to just have us passengers wandering around the port on our own. The trams take us to and from the cruise terminal building, and from there you can get your shore excursions, or even just shop a bit and have a drink or food. I spent a little time on shore and then headed back to the ship. I had lunch at Slice, and the pizza was tasty. I had dinner at Planks, which is a pop up restaurant that this ship does. It was a good day. Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!
