About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionโ
We leave Tobermory, Joanne's favourite anchor, and sail up the Sound of Mull to the furthest point on our cruise, Coll Island in the Hebrides. En-route we spot dolphins leaping out of the water on one side of the boat, you may have to squint. Having deposited us on Coll Island the tender breaks down and we explore the beautiful landscape and fabulous views over Loch Eatharna and find sheep, lovely cottages and yet more sheep. After Coll we set our direction to Lunga Island which is known for its puffins. We weren't disappointed these fabulous birds were in no way cautious of us and there were thousands willing to be watched and photographed. This was my favourite experience of the cruise. We then up anchor and move to another Mull inlet, Loch Na Keel, to shelter overnight,. Join us as we go out of our comfort zone on a small cruise ship, The Majestic Line, going around the inlets and islands of the Isle of Mull. In this adventure we take a converted herring trawler and are one of ten guests experiencing a very different type of cruising. See the scenery and wildlife we experience as well as the various towns and locations we go to. There is no set itinerary instead the skipper will be deciding where we visit dependent upon the weather, currents and other factors.
