The day we should have been in Leixoes (for Porto) but for Storm Dave delaying our departure was spent at sea. We had a leisurely day, watching various things that Cunard put on, like fruit and vegetable carving and - I couldn't get into position to take any video - flower arranging. The day at La Coruña started cool and cloudy but warmed up later. We walked through town to reach the Tower of Hercules and returned along the coast road, past a sculpture park. After lunch we left the ship again and explored in a different direction, going to some gardens laid out near the port. Leaving port the sea was showing 3-4m swells, I estimate, which made the ship pitch more than we'd seen on other ships but she didn't roll at all, meaning you could avoid feeling queasy.
