BRAND NEW Norwegian Aqua Cruise ships Docks at Southampton for Fist time Norwegian Aqua Debuts in Southampton, Featuring World's First Hybrid Roller Coaster Norwegian Cruise Line's latest ship, the Norwegian Aqua, made its inaugural visit to Southampton today. This Prima Plus class vessel introduces an innovative hybrid roller coaster and waterslide, a world first for the cruise industry. Accommodating up to 3,571 passengers, the Aqua offers a variety of amenities, including a digital sports complex, a spacious pool deck, and luxurious three-bedroom duplex suites. The ship's distinctive hull art is the creation of Allison Hueman, Norwegian Cruise Line's first major female hull artist. Additional onboard features include four outdoor pools, a spa, a casino, and expanded dining and social areas such as Hasuki Teppanyaki, the Vibe Beach Club, and the Commodore Room. Guests can also enjoy large Starbucks locations. Norwegian Cruise Line anticipates the Aqua will set a new standard for cruise entertainment and relaxation. The ship is scheduled to depart Southampton on April 4th, embarking on a transatlantic voyage to Boston, Massachusetts.
