Breaking News!!! Dangerous helicopter medical evacuation performed by the amazing United States Coast Guard (USCG). The USCG performed the evacuation in extreme weather conditions, high winds, freezing rain, dense fog, 12-16 foot sea swells just south of the Bering Sea in the North Pacific Ocean. We are sailing on the Carnival Luminosa historical 31 night journey originating from Brisbane, Australia and ending in Seattle, Washington. The medical evacuation occurred approximately at 8:15am at the aft of the ship. Both the USCG and the Carnival Cruise Line personnel were extremely professional and skilled in the evacuation process under these difficult weather conditions. Our prayers go out to the injured passenger and their family. Thank you for watching our breaking news.
