Creator's Key Takeaways

Our little boat trip cost us €8 each, and it was well worth it.

It was brilliant to see the ship towering above us and get those perfect shots from the water. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

So, we just had a nice little lunch, didn't we? Yeah. very nice at the Leo pool area

This experience costwise I think it's about 45 or $49. It used to be $149. So it has come down in price

Star Princess Episode 5 | Exploring Cartagena, Spain and our evening at Spellbound | Mediterranean Cruise Vlog Join us for Episode 5 of our Star Princess Mediterranean Cruise series as we spend a sun‑soaked day in Cartagena, Spain — a historic port city packed with ancient history, stunning harbour views, and plenty of unexpected adventures. In today’s vlog, we start our morning with tea on the SeaWalk before heading ashore with friends to explore Cartagena for the very first time. With over 2,000 years of history, this beautiful coastal city instantly won us over — from its sparkling marina to its Roman‑influenced architecture. We planned to take a tuk‑tuk or land train… but with no pick‑up point in sight, we switched to Plan B and hunted down the tourist information centre. That’s where we discovered the harbour boat shuttle — just €8 each for a relaxing round‑trip ride between the marina and Christmas Fort, the fortress guarding Cartagena’s harbour. This gentle sightseeing cruise gave us gorgeous views of the coastline, historic cliff‑side defences, and of course, some incredible close‑up shots of Star Princess from the water. Definitely a highlight of the day. Back onboard, lunch was calling after skipping breakfast, followed by a chilled hour in the Sanctuary before getting ready for Spellbound, the magical evening experience onboard. No filming allowed inside — you’ll have to book it yourself to see the surprises! We finish the night with a wander around the top decks, catching glimpses of Top Gun: Maverick on the SeaScreen before heading to bed for an early night What’s in this episode: First impressions of Cartagena, Spain Searching for tuk‑tuks & land trains €8 harbour boat tour to Christmas Fort Stunning views of Star Princess from the water Lunch onboard & relaxing in the Sanctuary Evening at Spellbound (Princess Cruises experience) Late‑night wander & SeaScreen moments We’re sailing in a Sanctuary Mini Suite (upgraded from a Cove Balcony via Princess’ bid system) and enjoying the Princess Premier package, which includes premium drinks, Wi-Fi, and more.
