Chiang Rai - Normal Nomad Life. White Temple, Blue Temple, Shopping, Bloodwork and Laundry

This week we spend 10 days in Chiang Rai, this is overlooked by so many and regarded as a day trip instead of a destination. We hope you watch this video and you put this on your list if you are in the area. We start by taking you to Tops Groceries in the Central Chiang Rai Shopping Center. Tops is always a good place if you want some home comforts and even stock Kirkland Brand for those Costco lovers out there. We next visit the White Temple which is truly an amazing structure. If you stay in Chiang Rai you get the chance to beat the day trippers and get the place to yourself. This place is like nothing you have seen before and the Cave of Art is indescribable and hardly anybody goes in to it as you need a separate ticket. Next we head for Bloodwork at Mengrai Labs which was super affordable and efficient, and then onto Bangkok Hospital for our Hep B 2nd dose. The next temple was the Blue Temple which is surreal in such a different way. It's completely different to the White Temple but two of the most amazing temples we have seen. You must check it out. Next is Laundry Day and this is the reality of Normal Nomad Life, its more affordable and easier than you would expect. Then it's back to the biggest time consuming part of our lives. Planning, planning and yet more planning. We plan 12 months ahead and still cant get all the hotels we want. Next we go to the Chiang Rai Walking Market which is a locals Market with less souvenirs before we head over to the Night Bazaar which is definitely tourist central. We then sum up our feelings on Chiang Rai.
