We are in Arkansas, nestled in the Ozark Mountains at the Buffalo National River. This is part of the National Parks Service and was named the first National River in 1972. The location is stunning and the river itself is clear and beautiful!! We have found here one of the best activities you can do during the summer!!! Float the river!!! What is a float? Well, you get in a canoe or kayak and float down the river… the current does most of the work for you and little paddling is needed. Being on the river you will go between stunning bluffs on either side of you and see lots of wildlife. Get hot? Just stop and jump in the river!
