Star Princess vlog episode 4 Welcome to episode 4 of our Star Princess Mediterranean cruise series! 🚢 Today we explore Gibraltar for the very first time — and what an adventure it was. From breathtaking viewpoints to fascinating history, this port day had it all. We start onboard with a visit to Coffee Currents on Deck 7 — perfect for a coffee and cake before heading ashore. Standing next to the enormous Sky Princess reminded us just how massive these ships are, even dwarfing P&O Aurora! Once in Gibraltar, we joined a local tour straight from the cruise terminal and discovered: • Pillars of Hercules Monument — stunning views across the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. • St. Michael’s Cave — incredible stalactites, stalagmites, and immersive light shows in this vast limestone cavern. • The Skywalk — a glass platform perched high on the Rock with jaw dropping panoramic views. • World War II Tunnels — exploring Spitfire Hall, wartime artefacts, and the tough conditions endured by troops. After the tour, we relaxed at The Lord Nelson bar, enjoyed Gibraltar’s town centre, and even spotted dolphins as Star Princess sailed away at sunset. Back onboard, we soaked up the sunshine at The Sanctuary, dined at The Butcher’s Block by Dario Cecchini (included with our Premier package), and danced the night away at the silent disco in The Dome.
