#haugesund #norway #iona #aurora #arcadia #pando We wanted to visit the Viking Farm museum and history centre in Avaldsnes whilst on our Norwegian cruise with P&O cruises Aurora. P&O Iona also visits this port regularly. The port of Haugesund is just a 25 minute bus ride away from Avaldsnes which makes it an accessible place to visit when you dock in Haugesund. P&O cruises wanted Β£76 each onboard to take an excursion to Avaldsnes but we researched doing it independently before we went and managed to do the same trip for Β£22.50 each. In this vlog we show you exactly how to do this using public transport, the cost to the museum and how long it takes. We also show you what we get up to when we return to Haugesund.
