What Creators Are Saying
Selected quotes from our creator panel.
“I absolutely love Honfleur and if you're someone who doesn't like crowds, appreciates good architecture, and you know, just wants to experience a bit of medieval France, um yeah, pop along to Honfleur.”
“I think out of the three ports that we visited on this cruise, it's definitely been my favorite.”
“The staff were absolutely epic. We've probably not had such good service so consistently over a whole two week cruise as we've had on Ambassador.”
“Great service, great food, great environment. 10 out of 10.”
“I think Ambassador doing a creme brulee. By far the best cruise line we've been on.”
“for there to be one choice and for it to be John Smith's is really, really poor. I mean, John Smith's is an absolute puddle of a beer, it's awful.”
“I mean, John Smith's is an absolute puddle of a beer. It's awful. If you go into a shop and you look at the ingredients on the side of a can of John Smith's, you'll see that they add glucose syrup and hop extract.”
“The biggest disappointment was the awful service we had on board and the cleanliness of our cabin. It's by far by far the worst cruise we've ever been on for service and cleanliness.”
“I don't mind being shocked with a man coming out of a coffin and but I don't like being shocked with sex.”
“this has to be without a shadow of a doubt the worst service that we have uh had on any of those lines definitely”
Pro Tips From Creators
The most-shared advice for Travelling Light.
Go to the buffet as early as possible to avoid crowds and ensure better selection.
Book main dining restaurants via the app or in person between 5:30 and 6:30 to secure a spot.
If you have food intolerances, check the menu boards outside the restaurants beforehand.
You can order tea and coffee in the main dining room even if they aren't listed on the menu.
Use a tourist map or Google Maps to locate the old town as it can be easy to miss.
Consider walking the coastal path for scenery, but cut through the town if you need to get back to the ship quickly.
Be aware that many things in Spain close between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
The Museum of Fine Arts is free and a good place for a quick distraction or to find free toilets.
