If you overlook THAT in the DRINK PACKAGE, you'll pay double! 💸🍹

1️⃣ Beverage packages feel like security: “Then I've got everything covered.” In reality, many people buy a package that doesn't suit their drinking habits—and either pay for unused drinks or end up paying extra. The nasty thing is that you don't notice this when you book, but on the third day when you suddenly do the math. 2️⃣ The classic: You buy a large package for “cocktails and soft drinks,” but mostly drink water, coffee, and two drinks in the evening. Or vice versa: You take the small package—and find that the drinks you love are always excluded. Then you pay for the package plus individual prices. 3️⃣ Almost every cruise line designs packages so that you lose out in the end: limits per day, certain brands excluded, specialty coffee extra, minibar not included, island bars not included, or exactly those premium drinks cost extra. It's not a scam. It's mathematics that relies on forgetfulness. 4️⃣ The shortcut: Decide based on routine, not emotion. How do you start your day? How does it end? If you need coffee in the morning, want a soft drink at noon, and have two drinks in the evening, a medium package might be perfect—or none at all. But only if you're honest with yourself instead of “playing it safe.” 5️⃣ The best package isn't always the biggest one. It's the one where you never feel like you have to think twice about every sip you take. Ask yourself: Do I go out partying a lot? Or do I take it easy? Am I traveling alone, as a couple, or with a group? Am I stingy and would think twice about every drink, or do I want to treat myself to some luxury? Are you more of a: “Team ‘flat rate’ or team ‘pay as you go’? – Who really saves money in the end? Write down your strategy! 👇” PS: How many cocktails per day do you need before your vacation really gets started? 🍹😜 We'll probably never see each other again, so follow @cruisementor if you want more of this.
