In the final video of the series we arrive at the port of La Rochelle in France, somewhere we hadn't visited before but sounded right up our street. we took the shuttle from the port into the town, which takes about 15 minutes. We picked up a map that had a self-guided walk on and we decided to use it to explore. Let's simply say that we saw all the different sides of the place! 🤣 After a good walk we returned to the starting point and went back to the ship, meeting an old friend in the Wintergarden. In the evening we had a long chat with an old friend over a hot chocolate before calling it a day. The next day we were at sea, heading back to Southampton. It was a typical Cunard sea day, with many different types of activity to choose from. We went to the theatre for an Insight Talk by cartoonist Harry Venning. We'd seen him before but he didn't disappoint. All too soon the Group activities were over and it was time to start the dreaded packing. We need to thank Paul & Carole Love To Travel and Travel Agent extraordinaire Dan Hammond for their hard work in bringing this Group Cruise to a very successful fruition.
