Day 3 of our Panama Canal Cruise 2021 was on a Sunday. The ship was in port at Cabo San Lucas, which is a tender port. This means that the ship drops anchor in the water rather than pulling right up to a pier; to get to shore, you have to first get on a smaller boat, called a tender boat, which takes you the rest of the way to land. We had no plans to get off in Cabo San Lucas so we enjoyed a very slow-paced day on the ship. After coffee and pastries in the Cove Cafe, we spent a good portion of the day in the Crown and Fin watching football. Dinner was in Animator's Palate, and one of our traveling party was celebrating her birthday! She had been sent a cake by family who had preordered the cake prior to the sailing. After dinner and a much-needed walk around deck 4, mom and I went to the Moonshot family variety show in the Walt Disney Theater. Moonshot is an acapella group from Orlando, FL; we enjoyed the show. Then it was time for bed!
