P&O VENTURA & OCEANA'S FINAL SAILING FROM SOUTHAMPTON AS SHE HEADS OFF TO PIRAEUS IN GREECE 08/07/20

P&O Cruises 'Ventura' sailed out of Southampton from Mayflower Cruise Terminal on the 8th July 2020 just before 17:30pm heading down to Weymouth and as she was passing Town Quay her soon to be ex-fleetmate 'Oceana' which was in the Ocean Cruise Terminal then started to sound her horn in saying her goodbye to 'Ventura' and 'Ventura' replied back to 'Oceana' as this was the last ever time that we shall ever see 'Oceana' here in Southampton, it was quite emotional as both ships exchanged horns to say farewell. After the 'Ventura' had passed the entrance to Ocean Dock the 'Oceana' then made her departure for the very last time at 18:03pm with a few people watching on including myself from Town Quay. The 'Oceana' is heading for Piraeus as she has been sold off to buyers in Greece where she will perhaps undergo her transformation into her new livery and be renamed.
