Creator's Key Takeaways

I'm not saying he was dismissive but I really don't think he got the points that I was making and there was no effort made to say well what can I do to make things right

After I initial hiccup the main course I think has redeemed itself there were some very nice deep flavors in the MadAss nice thick sauce

I think if you're someone who does have a food intolerance or allergy just really think carefully about going to these speciality restaurants because you may end up paying a lot of money but not get much

Creator's Tips & Advice

If you have food allergies or intolerances, be cautious with specialty dining as they may not be able to accommodate specific ingredient removals due to pre-prepared items.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We tried the speciality restaurant Kora La onboard Marella Explorer 2. This is an Asian themed restaurant. Marella claims: "You’ll feel like you’ve switched continents when you dine at this restaurant. It offers a pan-Asian selection of curries and noodle dishes, a separate sushi menu, plus bespoke dishes created by master chef Ian Pengelley exclusively for Marella Cruises. This is one of the ship's speciality restaurants, so there's a charge to dine here – plus, we recommend you make a reservation in advance. There's a smart dress code here" We booked this restaurant the day we boarded and had a choice of a few time slots at the beginning or end of the dining times. We chose to eat earlier and in this vlog we show you exactly what our experience was of dining here. I do have a food intolerance and I pre ordered in the morning hoping that my dietary requirements could be accommodated with alternative dishes if required. We are also pescetarian so our choice was limited to dishes excluding meat. We tell you the cost to dine here and if we feel it is good value for money. Marella Explorer 2 is a cruise ship that is part of Marella Cruises. Other ships include Marella Discovery 2, Marella Explorer, Marella Discovery and Marella Voyager. Marella Cruises offer all inclusive cruises to a wide destination of countries throughout the year. You can fly from many regional airports to pick up your cruise. #cruiseship #marellacruises #marellaexplorer2 #cruisefood #asianrestaurant This video was shot on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera.
