Swiss Train Adventure: Solo Travel in Switzerland is NOT what I Expected

I woke up in Lucerne and spent the day traveling by train to a popular ski town in Switzerland, Zermatt! Home of the Matterhorn, this gorgeous mountain town is pricey but worth a visit! I booked a hotel for just one night in preparation for a huge scenic train journey (coming next), but ended up getting one on my way from Lucerne to Zermatt! Jaw-dropping scenery filled my window as I rode three separate trains to get to Zermatt, and I enjoyed every second. Upon my arrival in Zermatt, I was shocked by the cold weather but excited to venture out for some dinner and sights around this gorgeous area. I spent the late evening at the spa in my hotel, a surprising addition that I didn't expect. I also shared a bit about my experience traveling solo in this country, it isn't exactly what I expected - though to be fair, I am used to traveling by ship and not on land, so this was a bit of a new experience for me.
