Vientiane, Laos - Staying at Crown Plaza, visit Buddah Park, Cost of Living, Wat Si Muang & Monk 101

We are staying at the Crown Plaza in Vientiane, the Capital of Laos as our base to explore this compact City. Vientiane has a completely different vibe to Luang Prabang and settled on the banks of the Mekong it is definitely an interesting place to visit. We head to Buddah Park and get to see some amazing sculptures and get the chance to travel through Hell, Earth and Heaven all in one day. We get a chance to see Wat Se Muang, the story goes the a pregnant lady jumped into the hole that was flooding the new city of Vientiane. The water stopped and this temple was dedicated to her. We also head to the Pha That Luang Buddist Temple, you can't miss it. It's huge and gold so you know when you see it. We go to the night market located on the banks of the Mekong and went to a Shopping Mall. Both are so different to South East Asia's Markets and Malls.
