We Tried to See the Real St. Maarten in One Cruise Day | Maho Beach, Marigot & Island Tour | 44Unbound St. Maarten is one of the most famous cruise ports in the Caribbean, but I wanted to know what the island actually feels like beyond the ship, the shops, and the quick tourist stops. In this video, we spend one full cruise port day exploring both the Dutch and French sides of the island. The day starts in Philipsburg near the boardwalk and Great Bay Beach before heading farther into St. Maarten for a local island tour with beaches, viewpoints, food, history, and one of the most unusual airport experiences in the world. Along the way, we stop at Corilita Beach and Moses Walk, get a glimpse of everyday island life, visit Orient Bay Beach on the French side, and spend time in Marigot, where the waterfront, market area, and Fort Louis views show a different side of Saint Martin. Of course, no St. Maarten travel day would feel complete without Maho Beach. Watching planes land just overhead is one of those experiences that looks wild on video but feels even more intense in person. It is loud, crowded, exciting, and completely unique to this island. We also visit Topper’s Rhum Distillery and try a local brew before wrapping up the day with some honest thoughts about what St. Maarten is really like as a cruise destination. This is not a perfect travel guide or a polished resort tour. It is a real cruise port day, filmed as it happened, with the goal of seeing more of St. Maarten than just the port area. Like my Grenada and Dominica videos, this one is about the full feeling of the island — the beaches, the roads, the people, the views, the surprises, and the little moments that make a place stay with you. If you are planning a Caribbean cruise, thinking about a St. Maarten island tour, or wondering whether Maho Beach is worth it, I hope this video gives you a real look at what one day in St. Maarten can feel like. This is 44Unbound — real travel, real places, and the freedom to go everywhere. Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/@44Unbound/featured?sub_confirmation=1 New videos every journey with 44Unbound.
