Hello Travelers, I boarded the Carnival Firenze on June 4, 2024. This is a short five day cruise, visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. I’ve been to both ports, but I was really excited about this cabin! Today was a sea day, and I spent time watching the Tina Turner dance class, which was quite entertaining. While there, I was also working on assembling my ducks, when a man told me how he and his family used to give out ducks, but switched to bracelets, and he gave me one. It was a great new way to play the duck game. The highlight of the day was Chef’s Table. I have been on several Carnival ships that offered Chef’s Table, but this one actually had the table in the galley. That was quite a change, and interesting to watch the crew between courses. They also did a demonstration of how they make the Chocolate Melting Cake, and at the end of the meal, gave us a folder with the recipe and a group picture.
