Carnival Panorama Day 6: Cabo San Lucas | B2B & S2S | West Coast Mexico | Not So Solo Travel

Hello Travelers, I have completed the back to back (B2B) cruise on Ruby Princess for two weeks, and now I am embarking on the side to side (S2S) portion of the trip on Carnival Panorama for my sister’s birthday cruise. This is the fifth day of the cruise, and we visit Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas is a tender port, and the directions told us to allow for 45 minutes for the tender. So we did, and we got to the port at least an hour early. None of the stores were really open yet because ship time was another hour earlier than Cabo time. But we wandered around the port area, and eventually found our tour guides. They had us all sign waivers and we headed to the Tropicat, our catamaran for the day. The catamaran had these areas where you could just dangle your legs over these openings that had nets strung across them. It was a nice way to sit out on a deck that had no chairs, so you were either cross legged on the deck or sat around one of these openings in the deck. The journey out and back were both very nice. I was on the wrong side of the ship to get footage without a bunch of people in the shot, but on the way back, the ship heads the other direction and I was able to affix my GoPro to the ship railing and get excellent footage. Lands End is where the Arch is, as well as Lover’s and Divorce beaches. It is a very pretty area. Once back on the ship, I did some laundry and filmed it for those who are curious what it is like to do laundry on a ship. It is quite straightforward. Dinner was once again in Bonsai, I got the ramen this time. Tomorrow is a sea day, and we have Teppenyaki booked for dinner.
