Hello Travelers, I am on the newly revamped Carnival Radiance cruise ship, and it is Embarkation Day!! I flew into Long Beach (LGB) airport, and the Carnival representative met those of us who purchased airport transfers at the baggage claim. Incidentally, she was also able to provide people who had not already purchased them transportation as well. I believe it would appear as a charge on your ship account. Carnival always has great sail away parties, and this was no exception. I especially enjoyed the pledge to Choose Fun. I had dinner in Fahrenheit 555, the cruise line’s steakhouse. Everything was delicious, but I filled up too fast to order dessert. I didn’t have the heart to waste the food, so I decided to skip it entirely. The cruise order was rearranged due to the weather and rough seas not cooperating with the original plan, so our sea day got moved to the front of the line, and we got our ports after.
