Hello Travelers, I wanted to give you a quick channel update, since the next several sets of videos will be a bit of a departure from my usual fare. As I mentioned in a vlog about the RCL cruise I took with (some) of my family back in 2022 on Liberty of the Seas, my Dad has cancer. I am planning to launch a series of comparison videos as an interim between the Carnival Firenze trip vlogs and the trip that came after. You see, I have a bunch of trips that I took video and I need to process them, but doing that is much more time (and energy) consuming than a series of comparison videos that will begin airing after this channel update. My plan is to put them together from footage from prior trips, and do comparisons on a bunch of different lines and experiences. I have taken a lot of trips since starting this channel, and there are certain activities I really enjoy, like Chef’s Table and Afternoon Tea. I also will be comparing classes of cabins across cruise lines (including solo cabins I have enjoyed), and common features many lines share—like gyms, thermal suites, and certain kinds of restaurants. I hope to have this series ready to be scheduled right after this video on my regular schedule, since I plan to start it after we have lost my Dad, and I need time to recover and mourn. For those of you who have lost loved ones, I’m sure you understand. And for those of us who have been affected by cancer, I’m right there with you—you’re not alone. Take care of each other.
