Hello Travelers, In August of 2023, I did my first full transit of the Panama Canal with Princess cruises. It was a 19 day cruise, the longest I had been on to date. This is day 17 of the cruise, and a we were stopped at Princess Cays, the cruise line’s private island resort. It is a tender port, so they gave us a flyer with tips for taking the tenders. I went down and got my tender number before heading to the main dining room for breakfast. That way my group was called while I was enjoying my food, and I could just join any group when I was ready to leave. I rented one of their bungalows, which I really enjoyed. It has air conditioning and a refrigerator, and they will bring you drinks and food if you know what you want from the buffet. You can also pre-order meals, they called me on my stateroom phone a couple of days ahead of time to see if I wanted to do that. I took an excursion to go on a glass bottom boat. They took us to three reefs, and we also fed the fish a little. After the fun was done, I headed back to the ship, and ordered room service to the cabin.
