Fairmont Vancouver in airport Hotel Room Tour | Solo Travel | pre-cruise hotel

Hello Travelers, I boarded the Holland America Cruiseline’s Koningsdam on September 10, 2022. This is the tour of the Fairmont Vancouver in airport hotel, where I stayed as a pre-cruise hotel. I really enjoyed this stay—I arrived in Vancouver around 8:30 pm, and the hotel is located in the terminal, which is so convenient! I got my bags and went through Customs on arriving in Vancouver, and then just followed the signs to the hotel. It was one flight up in the departures area, just past the departures counters as a matter of fact, so very easy to find. There are two large escalators when you first approach it, but there is an elevator tucked in behind them. Oh, and Vancouver airport has luggage carts for free everywhere. I’m so used to having to rent them in US airports that it was a lovely surprise. Once you are on the appropriate floor, there is a bridge to the hotel’s lobby. Check in was fast and easy, and I made my way to the room. I was in room 920, which had two queen beds and a view of the airport. It was a very nice room, and I’d recommend this hotel to people who are going on a cruise, because you just go back down to baggage claim and find the cruiseline rep for your cruise the next day.
